Savor the World begins with a central idea: before we can rise to the great challenges of our time, we need to stay connected to what makes the world worth loving.

For generations, the call to “save the world” inspired people to protect what they loved. But in an age of overlapping crises, that call can leave good people feeling overwhelmed, depleted, and powerless. Savor the World offers a more sustaining way forward, helping us hold both the difficulty of the world and its beauty, possibility, and abundance.

Drawing on research, stories, and practical insight, the book explores how savoring can help us stay engaged, reconnect with what we value, and keep making a difference in overwhelming times.
